PLSeminars Facilitating Facilitator’s Protocol
Purpose
The training protocol as described below is designed to:
- give maximum developmental support to PL facilitators;
- ensure that the basic principles, practices, and foundations of Personal Leadership guide the ongoing work of those who facilitate PL seminars; and
- make sure that those who are facilitating PL seminars remain up-to-date with the evolving methodology, process technologies, and facilitation strategies.
Ingredients
The training protocol consists of the following ingredients. While they are listed in the sequence by which facilitators most typically engage them, facilitators are encouraged to discuss with the founding partners what sequencing best serves their particular circumstances.
- Complete an Introductory seminar offered by PLSeminar facilitators;
- Actively participate in the PLNetwork listserve and, as possible, in PL Network gatherings;
- Participate in a Facilitating Facilitators (FF) seminar;
- Actively participate in the PL Facilitators listserve;
- With the support of a founding partner, and with other PL Seminar facilitators if desired, facilitate a PL Introductory Seminar for your own client, colleague and/or personal community;
- Participate in a second FF seminar;
- As desired, over the course of time, participate in Advanced Facilitator seminars; and
- Throughout all of this time, commit to the ongoing development of your own Personal Leadership practice.
