Personal Leadership Coaching
“Coaching is the single most powerful process
ever devised for releasing individual human potential.”
— London School of Business
Personal Leadership Coaching offers you a dynamic, purposeful, and immensely engaging process. It is directed by and grounded in your daily lived experience--what are your goals and intentions, what are you concerned with or confronted by? That's where we begin.
Do you want a customized introduction to Personal Leadership’s two principles, six practices, and the Critical Moment Dialogue?
Do you want to deepen your existing Personal Leadership practice?
Do you have a particular practice that intrigues or bedevils you, and that you want to better engage?

When tailoring the parameters of your package to best meet your needs and interests, we may recommend that psychometric instruments such as the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) be included to facilitate your development of specific competencies.
A limited number of partial scholarships are available for self-paying individuals, students, and others on fixed or limited incomes.
Why choose a package?
Each additional hour gives you an exponential increase in value.
As they say, “the sum of the whole is greater than the value of the parts.” This holds true in coaching, where the work you do between sessions and our work with you in the next session means that 1+1 actually equals 3 or 4 or even 5.
You’ll build a more firm foundation for your independent practice.
The principles and practices are deceptively simple. As you start to engage your practice, you will discover a depth of nuance such that your practice actually starts to “make a world of difference” in your life.
Using the Critical Moment Dialogue can become a ‘gestalt’ experience.
When we first start to use the Critical Moment Dialogue (CMD), it’s worth responding to every question under every practice before we discern our right action. Eventually, and with guidance potentially quite quickly, we can start using the CMD as more of a ‘gestalt,’ cutting quickly to the practices and the questions that allow us to disentangle and find our emerging truth.
You can configure each coaching session as it works best for you.
Schedule your individual sessions for as little as one hour, for 90 minutes, or for as much as two hours. Schedule them weekly, monthly, or at whatever pace works best for you. With a package, you have all the flexibility you need.
Back to TopWhat is Coaching?
Say you wanted to learn how to ride a bicycle. You could hire a therapist, a consultant, a mentor, or a coach. The therapist would encourage you to talk through the hopes and fears you have about riding a bicycle. The consultant would explain to you how it’s done and the systemic considerations to address in order to ensure that the ride succeeds. The mentor would get on the bike and show you how to ride by his or her own example. The coach would encourage you to hop on the bike, and would then would run alongside you until you were steady enough to go on your own.

Personal Leadership Coaching is not therapy or counseling, but may include some facet of consulting and/or mentorship as distinguished above. The coaching sessions may be designed to strengthen your practice of Personal Leadership both personally and professionally, to increase your competence in the midst of difference and change, and/or to maximize the purpose and possibility of your life. Coaching may address specific personal or business projects and may include vision clarification, resource gathering, brainstorming, identifying plans of strategic action, examining modes of life operation, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests.
Throughout the coaching relationship, you and your coach will engage in direct and personal conversations. You can count on your coach to be honest and straightforward in asking questions, providing information, and making requests. The specific focus of your coaching sessions will be directed by your responses to the intake forms we provide, as well as by what emerges for you between sessions. All information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
Remember this: the power of the coaching relationship emerges through the work you do between sessions as much as it does through the sessions themselves. If you think you could be getting more from the coaching than you are, talk about this with your coach.
Coaching sessions are scheduled in advance, just like any other appointment. You initiate each session by telephone or via a voice-over-internet protocol such as Skype, which means you and your coach can be on opposite sides of the world or right next door – it doesn’t matter.
“Professional Coaching is an ongoing relationship
which focuses on you taking action towards the
realization of your visions, goals, or desires.
Coaching uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery
to build your level of awareness and responsibility,
and provides you with structure, support, and feedback.”
— International Coach Federation
